December 29, 2012. A furnace oil tank exploded at Sri Guru Gobind Singh thermal plant last evening. The fire from the blast, that started at around 8 PM, was still not under control till reports came in on Saturday.
No casualty was reported although the blast could have resulted in a major disaster.
